Mission and Vision
Our Mission is "To share God's grace in Christ with the community and each other through Word and Sacrament, caring support and service."
As those called out of darkness into the marvelous light of Christ, we are called to share the Good News of life in Christ to all who will listen. To that end, everything we do in service to Christ's Church is done with the conviction that Jesus is Lord!
We exist as the Body of Christ at this time and in this place to bring Christ to our members and our community. We do so through Bible studies, Sunday School for children, special services throughout the Church year, clear proclamation of the Gospel, regular administration of the Sacraments, and community outreach events.
Of greatest importance to our church is that the message of life in Christ grows, even as we diminish. We are one Church whose head is Christ and whose body is composed of the many members who work together to promote the truth that we are saved from eternal damnation by grace, through faith in Christ alone. We bring nothing to the table but our selves, forgiven for the sake of the One who took our sins upon Himself and suffered and died on the cross of Calvary. We believe that because Christ rose from the dead, we too shall one day rise again when He returns to claim His own. At that time, Jesus will say to those who are to be saved, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world"...But to those who are condemned for their unbelief, He will say, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."
